Wondering if you should really invest in social media? Let me break it down for you.

Time flies, they say and they’re totally right about it.

There was a time when we were little kids, we loved playing with our friends but our moms had to force us to get inside, but yes, time flies and look where we are now.

Kids, parents, grandparents everyone is hooked with their smartphones and we are no one to blame.

A little fact: It all started in 2004 when social media had started to gain its popularity and as we all know from then there was no looking back.

Every platform kept growing eventually and tried to surpass each other.

But do you know how many are currently a part of the social media era?

The answer is right below.

How many people do you think use social media?

Yes, you heard it right, 3.2 billion people use social media every day. It is not something new for us to tell the impact of Social media in our life. From reading newspapers to having the news directly on our phones, everything has changed.

Now if you ask people what is the thing they cannot live without? The answer would definitely be their “smartphone”. Why smartphone? Because of the social platforms, people are invested in.

So it is clear that social media is here to stay in one form or the other.

But the actual question is, is it really worth our time?

The answer is yes. People spend a lot of time on their social media handles, Be it Facebook, witter, Instagram youtube or anything else.

Looking at the time people are spending online it is viable to say that social media is the place where our target audience is present. so what is stopping us from exploring it?

We should all agree on the fact that social media is growing and so is its Audience. To save time and manage all the social media channels in one place, one can find a lot of social media scheduling tools available online. Make the most out of it.

There might be a different set of audience for each platform, It might even take a while to understand it properly. You might fail once, you might fail twice or thrice and the more you keep experimenting the more you understand what works and what does not work for you.

Once you understand your target audience, their needs, and interests you are good to go.

And to all those who think it is stupid to focus on social media.

This one’s for you!
